Matt’s wife had NEVER seen this iconic movie until this weekend ?!

When it comes to movies it’s usually me telling my wife “I’ve never seen it before” as she sits there in shock, telling me how much of a movie it is. epic. Well this weekend the tables were reversed and I was the one sitting there in complete shock.

After the kids went to bed on Sunday night, Keri and I sat down to watch something – we just didn’t know what. We checked the 800+ channels on DirecTV, browsed Disney +, Netlfix, etc. What about Amazon Prime Video? Sure!

After browsing a bit of Prime, I came across one of my all-time favorite movies: The Truman Show. I told my wife it was one of my favorites, then she told me that not only had she never seen it, she had never even heard of it. That’s how we ended up watching the Truman Show last night.

The best part of watching it was probably seeing her watching it for the first time. I didn’t explain ANYTHING to him about the film. I didn’t even vaguely tell him what it was … I just pushed the game up.

In the end, she really loved it! I know we frequently talk on the Morning Show about movies that everyone has seen but not you, and the most common response is usually Star Wars. So you can imagine my shock when I learned that the woman I had proposed had never seen one of my all-time favorites. Glad we were able to fix it this weekend.

If you’ve never seen it, check out the 1998 trailer!
